Marilyn Milavsky 

Social artist, designer and community convenor – Marilyn Milavsky is also the founder (force of nature!) of Potent Talks. Her commitment to community-building has assisted a broad cross-section of Calgary’s charities and arts organizations. Marilyn served as director and Board Chair of the Calgary Opera for many years; she was co-chair of the TELUS Community Board; and sat on the Banff Centre’s national Capital Campaign. Her lifelong focus on health and wellbeing is reflected in her past involvement with the Hotchkiss Brain Institute Community Advisory Committee and the Sheep River Health Trust. In 2009, Marilyn received the Mayor’s Award for Innovation in Business and the Arts.
